Japanese company Toyota has launched a new model, which it describes as the most powerful of its electric vehicles to date. The new bZ4X Touring, part of the SUV category, is 4.83 meters long and has a trunk capacity of about 670 liters, making it ideal for families. In terms of drive, the new car relies on a 165 kW (224 hp) electric motor working with front-wheel drive, or two electric motors with a combined output of 280 kW (380 hp) with all-wheel drive, making it Toyota's most powerful electric car yet. The vehicle is equipped with a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a driving range of up to 591 km for the front-wheel-drive version and between 479 and 528 km for the all-wheel-drive version. The bZ4X Touring electric car features a heat pump and a battery preconditioning system that improve driving range and charging performance even in cold conditions. It also includes an intelligent navigation system that automatically selects optimal charging points. The all-wheel-drive version can tow up to 1,500 kg and offers two off-road modes, while the Grip-Control system automatically adjusts speed according to road conditions. The new car has a muscular design with black accents on the wheel arches, wheels, and roof, and shines in a brilliant bronze color. The standard package includes Matrix LED headlights, a 14-inch screen, a rear camera, Toyota Smart Connect navigation, ambient lighting, heated front seats and steering wheel, Smart-Key system, 18-inch alloy wheels, and Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance systems.
