Japanese actor Mizuki Itagaki, known for his participation in various dramas, was found dead after being missing for three months. Mizuki, 24 years old and recognized for his role in "Old Rookie," was in the process of relaunching his acting career. His family communicated the news through a statement in which they thanked fans and those who cared for him.

"He would have felt deeply disappointed himself," his loved ones expressed. They also remembered Mizuki as someone who sought to bring joy to everyone. The actor, in addition to his work in acting, also ventured into music as part of the Japanese band M!LK. His disappearance, which occurred in January, was marked by mental health issues, according to his loved ones.

Despite the efforts of the police and his friends to find him, Mizuki Itagaki was found dead in Tokyo under circumstances reported as an "accident." His family apologized for the delay in communicating the news and expressed their sorrow over the way his death was revealed.

Mizuki Itagaki, who was born in 2000, had an active acting career since his debut in 2017 in the series "Seirei no Moribito." He participated in various productions, including "Hana Moyu," "Drop," "Black Girl’s Talk," and others. In 2024, he left his agency due to mental health issues, which he openly shared on his social media.

After his recovery in the hospital, Mizuki aimed to return to acting with the goal of supporting those going through similar situations to his own. Unfortunately, his life was cut short just as he was beginning to resume his work.
