As part of a cultural and diplomatic agenda in Japan, the governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, inaugurated the exhibition "The Landscape and Tradition of Guanajuato" at the Cultural Center of Hiroshima Prefecture. The exhibition features 40 works of art and handcrafted pieces that reflect the identity, history, and creativity of the people of Guanajuato.

The exhibition, which will remain open until May 9, is part of the Flower Festival 2025 and aims to strengthen cultural ties between Hiroshima and Guanajuato, two regions that have celebrated more than a decade of sister city relationship. Among the exhibited works are creations by renowned artists such as Diego Rivera, Olga Costa, and José Chávez Morado, as well as handcrafted pieces representative of the cultural richness of the various regions of the state.

"We brought to Hiroshima the color, art, and soul of Guanajuato. This exhibition shows who we are: history, roots, and pride," expressed the state governor.

The Guanajuato delegation also participated in other diplomatic activities, such as the traditional Flower Parade, and held meetings with local authorities to strengthen collaborations in tourism, economy, and education. "In Guanajuato, we not only export products... we export culture, creativity, and the talent of our people," emphasized García Muñoz Ledo, highlighting that this effort not only spreads the art of the state but also promotes understanding between cultures.
