On Saturday, the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs warned about the potential consequences of North Korean troops entering the war in Ukraine. He stated that this would have "very serious implications" for security in East Asia.
Presenting his viewpoint on the situation, the minister noted that Japan is closely monitoring the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and supports diplomatic efforts for its resolution.
"We are doing everything possible to prevent war, and we hope that countries will contribute efforts towards finding a peaceful resolution," emphasized the head of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
Highlighting the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region, he underscored the necessity of dialogue and resolving conflicts through peaceful means.
