Prince Hisahito, second in line to the throne in Japan, expressed his intentions at his first press conference on Monday. He stated that he would do everything possible to fulfill his official duties.
"I have been preparing for almost 20 years, and I plan to participate in various events, meetings, and ceremonies related to my status," said Prince Hisahito.
He also added that he would support and develop the traditions of his country, as well as participate in events related to the Olympic Games.
