The volume of oil imports into the country of Thailand also increased by 1.3% compared to September of last year. Government representatives indicated that Japan plans to diversify sources of energy supplies and reduce dependence on oil and gas to ensure a more sustainable energy security. They also noted that the country will continue to develop new sources of energy, such as wind and solar energy. The government actively researches and implements renewable energy sources to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and mitigate the impact on the environment.
