Toyota Unveils GR GT Supercar Concept

Japanese company Toyota has unveiled its GR GT concept car, paving the way for a supercar that directly targets giants of the class such as Porsche and Ferrari. The company stated that the GR GT concept car relies on a hybrid powertrain combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbo petrol engine with an electric motor to generate a total power of 650 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Newton-meters. Toyota indicated that the top speed exceeds 320 km/h, placing the car squarely in the supercar category. To achieve exceptional driving dynamics, Toyota focused on lightweighting through an aluminum chassis and extensive use of carbon fiber parts. Additionally, an eight-speed automatic transmission is mounted on the rear axle to ensure perfect weight distribution. The GR GT concept car features an aerodynamic design 4.82 meters long and 2 meters wide, and is equipped with a suite of high-end features such as ceramic brakes and Michelin tires designed for sports driving.
