A resident of the Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka, 44-year-old Yesio, who has a master's degree in Japanese university, founded an agency for matchmaking to help others deal with romantic difficulties after 2000 unsuccessful dates due to low income and living with parents.
For eight years, he tried to find a partner, joining various agencies, but faced rejections due to loneliness, low income, and the fact of living with parents. Many Japanese prefer to remain single due to financial problems, which leads to a decline in population.
Despite this, Yesio decided not to stay in a achieved position and founded the Yoshio Marriage Lab agency, where he provides free consultations to people facing problems in love and marriage. His annual income amounts to around 3.5 million yen (23,000 dollars).
One of the unsuccessful dates ended when the woman laughed at his small car, to which he replied: "I don't even know what this brand of car is." She refused to continue the conversation and did not communicate further.
Yesio considers his experience important and says: "Each date improved my skills." He continues to help people find their second half, despite the ongoing difficulties.
