Emirates SkyCargo Celebrates One Year in Osaka

Emirates SkyCargo marks its first anniversary in Osaka with ten weekly flights to enhance connections to over 100 global destinations from Abu Dhabi, handling 7440 tons of cargo since 2024.


The airline subsidiary of the cargo carrier Etihad Cargo celebrated its first year of operation in the Japanese market in Osaka. Currently, it operates ten flights per week from Japan: three from Osaka and seven from Tokyo, providing convenient connections to over 100 global destinations via its hub in Abu Dhabi.

As reported by Etihad Cargo, the company has successfully increased its presence in the Japanese market, handling 7,440 tons of cargo from Japan, including 2,911 tons via Osaka, which constitutes 39.1% of the total cargo volume for the company in the country since the beginning of 2024. This was stated by Stanslas Brann, the General Director of Etihad Cargo, highlighting the significance of the Asian market for the company and plans to expand business in the region.
