Next Saturday, the second annual program of Emirati-Japanese falconry will be launched, which takes place in the town of Itchihara in Japan and lasts until the 13th of the current month.
The program offers the opportunity to delve deeper into the ancient falconry heritage and exchange knowledge about traditional cultures of the United Arab Emirates and Japan.
Implementation of the program is carried out within the framework of cooperation between the Falconry Club of the Emirates and the Japanese company 'Inbekus-Judko', aimed at strengthening friendship programs and cultural exchange between falconers from the UAE and Japan, as well as supporting sustainability in the art of falconry.
The program includes a series of events, including a seminar on the history of Japanese falconry and its traditions, as well as practical falconry experiences in the Itchihara region with the participation of the Muhammad bin Zayed Falconry and Conservation School and the Sou School in Japan, the oldest in Japan.
The program provides an opportunity for falconers from the UAE and Japan to share experiences in the art of falconry, strengthening cooperation between the parties for the preservation of this important cultural heritage.
The General Secretary of the Falconry Club of the UAE, Majid Ali Mansuri, pointed out that falconry is one of the aspects of the close relationship between the UAE and Japan, which has existed for more than fifty years.
The program continues this year its existence in Japan through the exchange of practical skills and experiences among falconers from both countries, which contributes to strengthening permanent communication and highlights the rich traditional values in the world of falconry while also strengthening common values uniting Emirati and Japanese cultures.
